A surprise technique

I have been trying to participate in some of the challenges over on SCS lately. Mondays are technique challenges. Today's is a Surprise Pop-up card. You can find the tutorial here. This was a new card type for me. I was excited to try something new. I am really pleased with my card. I think it's really cute. :) The lion is stamped once in Creamy Caramel and then again in Creamy Caramel and Cameo Coral. I cut the mane out and popped it up on a dimensional. I drew in some grass with Sage Shadow and Mellow Moss. I used a button from Fresh Favorites II for the sun. This was really much easier than I thought. Give it a try!

Supplies (all SU!): Stamps- Wild About You. Paper- Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Afternoon Tea DSP. Ink- Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Cameo Coral, Creamy Caramel, Sage Shadow, Mellow Moss. Accessories- Chocolate Chip polytwill ribbon, Fresh Favorites II button, dimensionals, sticky strip, circle punch.
